   |  American Idol We're about 1 1/2 hours away from the annoucement of the winner. After about 25 or so text messages last night, I'm hoping I made a difference for Katharine. Judges appear to be favoring Taylor Hicks. -Chris

 | They both ROCK! In fact, I believe the final 6 could have all been winners! The best overall talent yet! I believe there is going to be lots of new music careers launched after tonight! I will still maintain, Kelly Clarkston was the overall best of all the past winners . . . . Until this One . . . . . . I sure like Kath's smile! She certainly is easy on the eyes

| Disappointed with the result, but they'll both have a great opportunity to make records. I really enjoyed the finale. I was surprised to see all the stars appearing on Idol. I thought it was going to be long 2 hours of rehashing the season, but I was wrong. Very enjoyable! This episode will remain on my TiVo for awhile.
