Here is a review on Apples attempt at a smartphone/ipod....

I thought some may be interested in reading the review and how they point out some flaws in the device even before it's official release.

I just got through watching the keynote on apple's web site . . The iphone is probably my next smartphone! I am surprised at Edge vs HSDPA, and wondering about batterylife and phone quality. But I must say, that I am very impressed with the demo . .

I will have to admit that at first glance\ read the device seems impressive. I am anxiously awaiting the official release of the phone, to get real world feedback on it.. I have recently just joined the smart phone community and have to say i'm sad I didn't get one earlier . but I can't see myself leaving my time tested treo for anything new, anytime soon.

Neat lil phone but I'm not giving up my Treo any time soon...

As time has past and I have read some from the critics, I have heard some things that have disappointed me about the iphone. I still say its my next smart phone. Probably not until about the 3rd generation however. I am interested to see how the 3rd party thing shakes out as well as durability, and battery life. I think most of the puzzle pieces are there however . . And lets face it! Its beautiful!
