California Will ban the Cell phone in Automobiles in 08!

So recently here in the Northwest they put that law into effect and I absolutely LOVE it ! I drive a semi for a living and I canʻt tell you how many times Iʻve almost run over a car because the person inside is on their cell phone attached to their left ear and didnʻt see me.

They also enacted a "safety zone" law here that make it a offense if you change lanes in front of a semi too soon. You have to leave so many feet between your rear bumper and the front of the semi.

It may not seem like a big deal but you ever try to stop a 105,000 lb vehicle, moving at 50 mph, with stopping space the length of a Kia ? Somebodyʻs getting a ride to the hospital and it isnʻt going to be me.

I was getting towed through PA, last night... I had 44 thousand in the box... So I'm grossing close to 75,000... with the tow truck..we are well over 120,000. This guy pulled in front of us, slowed down... ( Gotta love that ) when we passed him, he was talking on his cell phone, while looking at a GPS... When fate finally rears it's ugly head on this clown, and he gets a saposatory, he won't know what hit him!
