| I had a similar experience when I bought my iPod Video. I ordered the day it was announced and it came on a Monday I beleive. I was extremely surprised and excited only to find out that it was defective. I called Apple and they had a FEDEX return package sent later that afternoon. I had a new iPod Video within days -- I think Wednesday. Anyway, this one worked great and overall I was pleased with the process. I did spend quite a long time on the phone, but it was worth the wait.
Have you synced the new Shuffle yet? Things working properly?
