For the power user, no. If you need or want more than a default application no. If you want music - yes. The design looks great; however, look at the touch screen and ask yourself what if...that is a hugh area to protect. Put it in your pocket with some coins, with a pocket knife, et cetera - put it in a case. The problem with a case that covers it is that over a period of time, the case covering starts getting cranky - press here and something happens there.

For my kid - a heck of an expensive music phone. For me, a total waste of money.
