by the other way this guy is pushing down the Pre plus , keeping the HTC EVO and says why and not going for the iphone 4 , making the differences and why.
Good job with iPhone 4, but the Sprint HTC EVO 4G is staying

I would aspect they are about the same. The Evo is winning because you don't have to have WiFi to use video chat. Pluse the front camera on the iPhone is VGA. The Evo is 1.3 megapixel. Not much difference, but its something.
Phone History (last 2yrs or less): Sanyo5500>Sanyo8300>SamsungA920>Moto i930>Moto i870>Moto Q>The Mogul & a iC902> Touch Pro & iC902>Touch Pro and a Palm Pre> just a Pre for now.

Memory and Storage - You gotta be kidding me! He thought the fact that the iPhone has a 16 & 32GB models of internal storage is better than 1GB on board and up to 32GB of storage with a memory card? Memory cardas are getting bigger everyday. I've seen 64GB cards starting to surface. And I think its only a software upgrade that will allow the EVO to read them. Not to mention you can get up to 32GB of Storage on the EVO for the same price as the 16GB version of the iPhone. The 32GB iPhone will cost you another $100. with all my media players I would never need that much music or videos on my phone anyway.
Additional Connectivity - the iPhone wins because of 802.11n connectivity and because of tethering. The Evo has HotSpot ability and can connect up to four devices. Even if its only two devices which have been proven to be able to connect, isn't that better than tethering a laptops on 3G??????
Size and Weight - The iPhone was consider to be a huge phone at first and people got use to it. Personally I like my phone to have some. Rarely do I ever drop my phone, but at least if the phone has some weight, you stand a good chance of it not breaking. This one is a toss up to me. But I can see someone who enjoys carrying their phone in their pocket not liking to have a device as big as the EVO
Display - I would need to hold them both in my hands
Battery Life - Not buying it.I think they both have horrible battery life. This is never gonna change until phone manufactures find a way to get Solar or fluorescent light as a way to keep mobile devices changed.
APPS - This one is a toss up again. We all know that most of the apps on the on any of these devices PRe, BB, Windows, iPhone or Android are really BS! How many truly useful apps are on any of these platforms?
To me these phones are basically the same. But to me, I thin the EVO is the clear choice. But that's my opinion
What do you think?

Thanks for your review of those slides.
The video conference quality stills keeping me on hold for making a change.
I think both devices are good , more speedy in the Evo. I will wait until these devices get a robust performance and after watching the upcoming comparison reviews between them after June 24.
Besides that after June 25th Palm stockholders meeting and agreement about HP acquisition, I guess some news will start to come over about a new HP/Palm webos device. I hope.
By the other way our carriers here in Ecuador don´t support CDMA networks, just GSM
Porta : America Móvil of Carlos Slim,México, Movistar of Telefónica/O2 from Spain, and Allegro of our govermment.
So for the Evo, a GSM version for me, could be an alternative.

I'm actually shocked that AT&T has pressed HTC for a GSM version or a European version hast surfaced yet. I think the two are on par. But I wouldn't give the iPhone the advantage. I"'m hoping that HP/Palm get more manufacturers involved like, HTC, Samsung and LG. I think a HP iPaq running WebOS may appeal to Blackberry users if they find a way to get constant email connections and allow for DOCS TO GO or editable office products. I think HP/Palm should hook up with Yahoo and find a way to get the email constantly connected. MS has Hotmail, Google has Gmail, BB has its own service. I think hooking up with Yahoo as the new search engine and email provider would be great step int eh right direction.

well, Yahoo is a great alternative but Google is Google and the others hardware manufacturers choices you mentioned are good for HP/Palm to check out.
Stay tuned I am writing 2 articles more or less about it . I think I will volunteer one if Chris allows me and the other takes more deep research.

Very true. People have come to love Google search. Bing it getting alot of praise too. But Yahoo was everyone's choice of email and search for a very long time. I think at this point that a acquisition of Yahoo by HP/Palm would be ideal. Or at least enter a long term agreement which would be a big boast for them all.

How many billions could HP invest on acquiring Yahoo search?
By the other way, suggest to read this post, I think somebody was thinking as I do on one of my future articles , at least for the 2GHZ processor, in someway:
