   |  Wake Up! The Strike's On! Okay, so maybe I'm just venting a bit... I've been at work since 6am (carpooled in) and I'm feeling little sympathy about this whole strike business. How's it affecting your day?:sad:

| Hi Lulu, Fortunately I am away from that neck of the woods now, but I remember all too well. Actually, I think it is a disgrace that they walk out so soon to Christmas! | I agree- the timing is awful. I am also really put off by the fact that the union is supposedly telling the workers that they will pay their fines accrued during this strike period...if you can pay it, why not just give them the money!:mad: I'll probably continue to carpool for Wed and Thur. We have a Hospital-wide holiday next week so I'll probably just kick off my vacation a day earlier on Friday.

|  That is aweful of the union....paying fines...give the workers a xmas bonus then? I saw your slashblog....the Treo holster was so neat. Did you make that up, or was that a real photo? Geo Have a Merry week.....but a Great Christmas! |

| Nobbie! Yes- there was an MTA transit strike in NYC the week of Christmas. No trains or buses were running. Where were you?!?
