Default What Ipod or mp3 player do you have?

Hello friends,

I had mp3 player but now I use new ipod touch which I purchased 8 days ago. It looks so nice. My one friend suggested to me buy ipod though coupons because he also bought ipod with big discounts though online coupons.

What Ipod or mp3 player do you have? Please share your ipod experience and ideas here.

I just happen to use an Onda vx878 music player which plays videos also. I got it for 85.50, but the price has dropped 15-20 bucks in between time.

My music is in MP3 format and it plays on both TCPMP and Real Player. Real Player is on the install disk and TCPMP is at http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/.

So it MAKES you convert your files from wma to mpeg-3? Half my music player songs (50-60%, about 5-10 songs) are in windows media.

Most of my collection of songs (125 gig) are mp3 so I don't need to carry around anything but my Treo 650.:-)

As in 1.25 GIGA bytes?!! My old 128 megabyte music player was plenty. I had every object imaginable on it - my music, photos, videos, websites. The only draw back was that it didn't have a screen.

Hi 2 bunny:

I had to ask about your comment that you had every imaginable object - music, photos, videos, etc. - on a 128mb music player.

The average MP3 is about 5-6mb. 20 songs would be 100-120mb alone. With the heaviest compression a two hour movie might be shrunk to 275mb.

What is wrong with this picture?

Yea, I wonder too. I mean I already have to start throwing things away from the 500 gig disk cause it gets full every time my daughter gets home. It's funny how the kids never seem to develop this kind of hamster mentality. I guess it's because they grew up with an endless, abundant supply of media. They don't keep anything. They can always find it again somewhere out there if they'd feel like watching it again...
