I believe he was moving the site to a new server. Sometimes these things can take up to 48 hours before all the nameservers update. Its back up now . .

The site seems to be down, any word Chris?

The site has been down at least 4-5 times over the past week. Today has been horrific.

Between troubles with the host and an increase in traffic, I escalated my plan to move to a new server. I started the process late last night. I've moved everything to a new server and just waiting for it to completely resolve to the new host. It's very odd, because some people are already accessing the site at the new server. Those stuck with the old server are seeing more of the same -- site down. For me personally, moving sites is both frustrating and nerve racking. Not to bore you, but there are lots of backing up databases and making sure that everything functions at the new host as it did before. During this whole process, you usually have the comfort of knowing the site is up and running at the old host. This unfortunately was not the case. It's been going down all day and the customers of this particular hosting company has a lot of unhappy customers. I had one foot out the door and cannot wait until the move is complete.

On to the good news...... the new VPS should provide quicker access, faster loading, and close to 100% uptime. I use them for Treomobile.com and I have had zero problems. It's a major upgrade, which is nice.
