There was no way to silence the alarm until the 'Palm' logo went away and the dismiss snooze options popped up about 10 seconds after the alarm had gone off.

    Ouch. That's pretty obnoxious.

As a side note, why do you turn your phone off?

I mentioned it in the first post but I turned it off for the night after applying the Phantom Skin on the phone.

I couldn't even turn it off immediately because the 'Palm' logo screen was still up!! Very embarrassing moment .... I don't think the phone's alarm should blare at you when its barely even turned on 4 hours after the alarm was set for! I mean you just turned your phone on ... chances are you know what time it is!!
I've been meaning to ask.. what was the FIRST Clock bug?

Since you consider this 'another' bug...

I know the first clock bug which I have experienced and others on this forum has to do with the clock randomly jumping 10-15 minutes ahead in time.

It worked on my phone too.

What an annoying bug... luckily its kinda rare that this would happen, but man to have this thing to off in the middle of a meeting or conference with co-workers with no way of silencing it would be very annoying.

Haha. Definitely agree! It happened to me during work and it was very embarrassing. Pretty easy bug for Palm to fix though. Kinda of stupid to let the alarm go off when you are turning on the phone and probably know what time it is ...
