    Default Another Clock Bug ...

So, I have my alarm turned on for weekdays at 7am and after applying a Phantom Skin last night, I had turned the phone off until the morning. The worst part is, at work around 11am, I turn the phone on and the alarm starts blaring in a room filled with my colleagues! I couldn't even turn it off immediately because the 'Palm' logo screen was still up!! Very embarrassing moment .... I don't think the phone's alarm should blare at you when its barely even turned on 4 hours after the alarm was set for! I mean you just turned your phone on ... chances are you know what time it is!!

    Never happened to me.
What did you do when the alarm went off the first time?

hmmmm.. im gonna test out your scenario.

If its a software bug, it should be repeatable.

    so...

    1. Set alarm to go off in 5 min.
    2. Turn off phone.
    3. Turn phone on in about 6 min or more (any time AFTER the alarm was suppose to go off)

Ill give it a shot and get back to you.

I replicated the scenario as described above and it happened again. Very annoying bug but easy to avoid if you know about it. Can anyone else confirm this problem or is it just my phone?

Was there anything that you could do to silence the alarm? Pressing the power button? The volume keys? Turning off the ringer?

My old windows mobile-based moto Q did the same thing, so sadly this did not surprise me when it happened with my pre.

I can also report that this has happened to me not only with this phone but my old motoQ as well.
