Calendar Problem: All Calendars (with dupes) or Only 1

In less than 24 hours, I have encountered my first problem. I got my Pre at 8:15 this morning. I was ecstatic to have my Google Calendar set up so easily. The local Sprint store was unable to properly sync my contacts from my Treo 755p. So, tonight, I followed the profile verification e-mail instructions - and intended to transfer my Outlook contacts with my Pre through the "one time sync" software Palm provides (through a web link).

Needless to say ... PROBLEM ... the "one time" sync software (no controls provided) transferred my Outlook contacts ... Great ... BUT it also tranferred my Outlook Calendar (which is already synced with my Google Calendar) to my Palm Profile AND NOW I HAVE DUPLICATE ENTRIES (because the Palm Profile Calendar account is identical to my Google Calendar account).

I first thought just "remove" the Palm Profile calendar account. I can't find a delete or remove function.

Okay, I thought ... only display the Google Calendar ... which you can do by clicking the oval button on the date bar (choices "All Calendars", "Google [I have multiple calendars: business, personal, birthdays, holidays, etc.)", [Fandango - after the app is activated], and Palm Profile). BUT another problem, Pre appears to allow me to display only 1 of my 6 Google calendars at a time (e.g. business ... but not personal, birthdays, holidays, etc.) There does not appear to be the ability to "check" each calendar you want to display simultaneously (it seems to be All or 1 only).

I had the same problem. I just deleted the dupes for the next couple of weeks, which was most of my appointments. I'm sure there are still some in there, but I'll deal with them as I get there. Not an idea solution but all I knew to do!

Is there any way to remove the palm profile from the calendar or contacts?

How do I display the date on the screen? Along with the time, is that even possible?
