Desktop software Calendar: wrong times for events

I live in MST time zone and enter events in Google calendar (via Outlook sync). When I travel (to say EST which is +2 hrs from Mountain), my events are also +2hrs off. Obviously an event is at the same time regardless of the time zone.

Anyone else had this problem? Any ideas to correct?

    Thanks.........Scott

This is not a problem. This has been Palm feature since Treo 600. Read the posts that Pastor suggested.

Your device is set to accept Network time, therefore it will adjust all your timed events accordingly. If you would like to be on New York time for example while you are in Los Angeles, change your settings to manual.

Again, I am not really sure how 12:00 noon New York time meeting will help at at 12:00 noon in Los Angeles. Wouldn't you want it adjusted?
