Dead Pixels, Bad slider, and no help

My friend is trying to figure out which way to turn now that his brand new Pre has 5 dead pixels and a rickety slider. The thing is almost swiveling and Sprint, nor Palm will fix or replace it. He wrote me a long letter describing the situation. Does anyone know where he should turn at this point?

Yeah, that was weird. My friend sent me the same thing. The site went down the moment I posted the link. Never had that problem before. It's back now, sans the photo.

Also..I live in Rochester..approximately 3 minutes from GreeceRidge mall, where this retailer is located...and unfortunately I do feel bad for him because he should have NEVER:

1. believed anything these people told him.

2. purchased anything from them.

Wow, that's interesting. Why do you say that? Stories? Are they shady? He thought they were good people because they held one all day for him on the release weekend. We were just there working at the time, so we had no idea. I live in Dallas and he lives in Nashville.
