Bad Palm. "Notify me" doesn't work with Firefox. :laugh3:

I have been an Palm supporter for years now, wow Sprint has the phone..??Hmm that IS a bummer. "Hopefully" Verizon will get a piece of the pie here soon, but until then, it looks like my next phone upgrade will be going with the Black Berry Storm..

I enjoyed my time with Sprint. I'm with AT&T now. They aren't terrible, but I don't understand the love for them. I think it's the swappable SIM card that makes people want GSM. If you travel overseas, I can see GSM being a big deal. Here in the US, what's the point of unlocking an AT&T phone? So you can use it on T-Mobile? :foot:

I think it's karma for Verizon. They blew off Palm when the Centro debuted, and only wanted it when it was a huge seller for Sprint.

Palm execs echoed how much Sprint has been in Palm's corner for years since the Treo 300. Not really a surprise here. AT&T's busy with the iPhone,Bold. Verizon is Storm crazy. Sprint will be Pre obsessed.

All phones (save for the iPhone) will jump to the other carriers when their respective exclusivity ends.

Verizon's response to me in situations like this in the past is that they don't want to take on a phone until all the bugs and kinks have been worked out. While that may be true to an extent, I agree that Verizon really hasn't been very true to Palm. I just hope they wake up soon. They certainly have one of the largest (if not the largest) customer base, so I would think that would generate some interest.

They took the Storm, which shipped with some issues -- most notably poor accelerometer performance. The Pre is super fast at switching between portrait/landscape. They would rotate it and it just kept switching on a dime.
