Very true, and I'll admit to some concern over people misunderstanding me.

In my opinion, it's the equivalent of someone who isn't interested in music/video buying an iPhone, or someone not interested in a QWERTY keyboard buying a Palm anything. As you correctly point out, the marketplace allows folks to choose.

Totally agree. I mean, my Father as an iPhone and doesn't have any songs on it. why? because it's incredibly easy to use, he loves the stock app, and finds it easy to message with the keyboard.

Clearly he is not the person Apple was targeting, but because they didn't leave him out, they got a customer.
