my palm pre (sprint) completely took a dump!
okay so last night i was on a call and then the call dropped...my signal strength meter had a "x" on it and it said "searching..." this drains the battery like crazy...and i cannot make phone calls or anything...i haven't talked to the people at sprint or palm...but i've read online and i've done the following myself:
I've restarted the phone...taken the battery out...started the phone back up and nothing
i've partial and fully erased the phone and nothing....
i've even reactivated my phone through the sprint website twice...the first time gave me a signal for like three minutes then poof it disappeared...the second time around it didn't connect at all...
i gave up and ordered another phone through the insurance...but has anyone seen this before...its a damn shame cause this phone is barely a month and a half old.

if it makes you feel any better most of us are on at least our second pre....

You shouldn't have had to use your insurance. It is on a 1 year warranty with Palm and I am sure sprint would have replaced it free.
