Sprint Email about the Pre

This e-mail is a riddle. Today is April 17th. So, the Pre will be released on May 17th. :cool:

I sure hope so! There really has been so much talk about the 17th! That was my guess on the contest too!

The subject line: Meet the Pre

when I saw it, I thought it was the release date info and pricing... but no, it was just marketing.... i felt a little violated. for 1 second.. then i got back to whatever i was doing.

I'm right there with ya! I thought this was it... so so sad!

Does anyone think we'll see any new advertising next week during "sweeps"?

this email actually just miffed me off. I actually yelled at palm from my bed as I checked my Curve and woke my wife.. Abel was there and making a similar expression as shown..

Hopefully the next email subject line will be: Get the Pre! I was also disappointed there wasn't more to this email. But it did give me hope that it's coming very soon. I'm sure I'll be getting some direct mailers too. Sprint sends me stuff on a regular basis through snail mail.

I got one too, then I called sprint to get the full story. They told me that I have to wait till the phone comes out in 2 qtr.

Mine hasn't either. I signed up on both the Sprint and Palm websites. Unless it's some other mailing list. Have all the people that got the email been current Sprint customers?

I haven't been able to check my gmail account for a few hours now so it's possible that I've gotten it within that time.

I've been with sprint for about 4 years now.

I remember seeing a leaked timetable at some point that mentioned mid april as an important time for the Pre, now I am thinking that 4/15 might have been the targeted rollout of the media campaign. First the new 3/4 G commercial and now this email.

in reality I'm tired of seeing "leaked" info lol. I'm not buying into anything until I wake up and get an email like today that says "GET YOUR PALM PRE NOW!" i can't wait for that day..
