Default Sprint Palm Pre Gift....From Facebook

So you know those pointless gifts that you can give your facebook friends...mostly at a cost so more pointless. well the free ones are nice.

BUT NOW THERE IS ONE FOR THE PALM PRE!!!! but it gets better....

you can get a free credit for sending it. I really don't care for these gifts but this is a smart move on sprint's part bc some fb users LOVE giving gifts and this is really bringing prewarness to the general public. two of my most non-tech friends know about it.

    Good Job Sprint!

The person you send it to gets credit for purchasing a gift to send to someone else. So you are doing them a favor by sending it.

its the facebook 'give a gift' program.

you send a gift....aka an icon.....aka 'your worth one of my $1 even though i could have said on a fb wall post'

its how fb makes money....so, you are giving them a free credit. i only posted bc i like that sprint is giving awarness about the pre. normally a company would have given a free gift....but they are giving free gift AND credit so they can buy a different gift.

    I'm still not getting it....lol
they can buy the "free" gift?
if it's a free gift, why do they have to buy it?

so I send my friend a pre as a "free" gift on facebook, then what happens?
do they get the free phone?
do they have to buy it? for how much?

You send them the gift, they receive the free gift, shows up on their wall. Then they receive 1 credit towards a gift of their choosing. Catch is, gifts cost 10 credits. So unless 9 other people send them this type of gift, they really won't be able to do anything with the credit.
