Best,
.
I assume the Twitter App will integrate with messaging alerts so you could respond more easily. If you had to go to the website each time you had to read or send a tweet it would get tedious or to coin a new word as I am want to do... Tweedious

If there is a Twitter App that is like Twitterfon for the ipod touch i'll be a happy camper. I just hope one program doesn't try to hard to be a social network butterfly

This thread is a pretty revealing commentary on just how sad our miserable little lives are as we await the Palm Pre... Lol

Going to the twitter website to check tweet updates sux. I use tweetdeck from my laptop, and when I am mobile i do use the mobile twitter website because all the twitter mobile aps I have tried on my Q crashes, hard. I have almost 400 followers and I follow almost 400 people, so weeding through all those tweets can be quite tedious if you don't have a decent client to keep things straight.
I am really hoping for a mobile client like tweetie, but i doubt apple will allow it on anything but an i-device.

Hmm, well I suppose it's either a matter of preference or a matter of scale. I have TweetDeck on both my desktop and ultrathin, but I don't like the fact that I can't scroll with the mouse wheel or with the arrow keys. I follow less than 100 folks so there's not a lot for me to weed through; but even the 'groups' feature doesn't seem to do much for me. I don't know. /shrug.
Best,
.

I have to agree that Tweetie has set the standard for Twitter apps on any platform.
There are some new clients coming out for Symbian that look promising. Unfortunately, Windows Mobile just doesn't have anything that can touch Tweetie or Gravity right now. I find PocketTwit way too laggy.
I believe that apps make a platform, and I cannot wait to see what this community will offer for WebOS! Twitter |

I wouldn't be surprise if the application is develop with the early SDK release. Twitter is like crack right now.... you got to have your daily doze of it and because we've become engulf in what everyone is doing without having to ask.... i would assume that the application will be out there if not with the early release or right after launch.... people need to twitt like they need to remember to eat breakfast...
