calls go straight to Voicemail - any suggestions?

A ton of my friends tell me their calls to my treo 650 (sprint) go straight to vmail. I realize this is probably because I use chattermail which employs a constant data stream - but is there any way around this? I really really like chatter compared to versamail, the push email is top notch.

Depends on your local Sprint network. The Sprint area I am in if I'm on the web calls go to voice mail. Others the call will knock you off the web and you will get your call. (Vegas does I believe).

Cut down on how often you check your mail and you won't have this problem.
