For me, a complete deal breaker. I commute by train and use phone as a modem there. I often work at customer sites where network availability is hard to get. I suppose I would be a candidate for a USB Modem, but I tether with my Touch Pro for $15/month. The $60/month for the other plan is $45/month I'd prefer not to pay. Plus, I can take the $15/month off my plan as needed (like when the startup runs out of cash ...).

Now, the Touch Pro runs Windows Mobile, and I have had very good luck with tethering with that phone. But to give you a feel for the experience of Windows Mobile, here's a story.

Friday, I was working at the office of a major cellphone carrier, one of the largest in the world. My sponsor there, a project manager is the new technologies group came into the room and saw me tethering with the Touch Pro. He looked at it and said, "I'm sorry".
