Default Early cancel cost from Sprint?

Anyone know what the early cancellation cost is from Sprint? I am not having any issues with them. I am just trying to figure something out.

I know I could just call them but I am sick of how much they try to sell you things over the phone. The last time I called was to cancel a service. It is just my wife and I who use a shared plan. We do not have kids or anyone else in our family living with us. The guy asked about 8 times if I wanted a 3rd line with a free phone. I kept telling him that it was just the two of us and kept trying to sell it to me. Was quite annoying. It made me feel like I was trying to cancel my AOL account in 1999. I actually called my local sprint store the next day to make sure he did what I asked of him. (i am not bitter with it, he was just doing his job)

    Thanks.

The cost to cancel my previous plan was $150. With my new plan (changed my plan when I got the 700p, and added my daughter to my acct), the cancellation is $200. I wonder, though, if the increase may be due to the discounted price they gave me on the 700p.

if you rebate 150 your cancel will be 150 its base on your discount

    I don't know...my discount was $300. Got the 700 for $349.

Thanks for the feedback. I am trying to figure out a way to get a savings on the 700p from them. I used my 2 year discount (if you call it one) on getting my 650 a couple months ago.

I am just trying to figure out if it would be cheaper to cancel my account and switch carriers to be able to use the instant rebates. The problem is that overall I like Sprint.

I suggest calling up Retentions and seeing what they may do for you. I had no reason to expect anything when I called. I'd just renewed 9 months earlier. The one thing I did mention was Verizon's price-dropping to try and have them match it. The rep I had didn't quite match it but she saved me enough off my bill every month to more than make up for it. I hear of people getting unbelievable deals all the time. Seems it just takes luck and patience.
