    Default fed up with sprint playing dumb and other bs

    Today I called one of the many Sprint stores in the area and asked what time they were opening on Saturday.

    "7 for pre orders and after 10 it's first-come-first-served. Do you have a pre order?"
    "No."
    "Let me see if I can get one for you."
    <hold/>
    "You can come in today and get one. We'll do the credit check and everything, so you'll be guaranteed to get one if you're on the list."
    "Okay. Thank you."

    So I take a shower and put on real clothes and head to the store and receive a completely f'ing different story. They're opening at 7 and then after 8 it's a free for all. Oh, and I can't get on the list. An hour of my life was wasted because of this bs. I asked how many phones they'll have and of course the answer is "we don't even know." bs. I know they're either in the back or on order with an exact amount known. Then I ask how many people are waiting on the list that between an hour ago and now is too long for me to be on and the answer is "we don't know."

    They compiled this list. Someone wrote each and every name down. The list is not infinite. It is a discrete value. You know it and I know that you know it.

    I'm sick of this retarded effort to add mystique to a cell phone from Palm. There are other carriers out there and other phones. I can buy any of them. If I don't get a phone on Saturday, then that's it Sprint. We're done. I'm not waiting.

    I'm gonna guess no.
    That's common. If you called Best Buy and was told they only had 4 would you bother going?
    With an "I don't know", which is really an "I can't say" your more likely to show up and maybe buy a 'fridge when you find no Pres.
