| How is Sprint with Customer Service? I called today with a simple question and I had like the rudest, most non-helpful person ever. But other people say that customer service is great. Can anyone give me their customer service insight? |

| I find that customer care tends to be rude if you are dealing with billing errors. Don't get me started if you have to deal with tech support, depending on the call center you can get good people, the Oklahoma City Call center stinks, the Kentucky call center seems to know what they are doing but actually getting to them is a crap shoot. Just know that when you do call you are likely going to be in queue whatever call center you get into.

| i find the service to be pretty helpfull for the most part, although the wait times kill me.I don't think I have ever waited less than 20 minutes, and it's usually a half hour. The tech support is shakey, billing issues I have had have all been delt with pretty smoothly. |

| I have never had any issues with Sprint's service and have been a customer since 2000. I prefer their customer service over Nextel's any time. Due to my wife's recently diagnosed medical condition, a discussion with a Sprint representative resulted in my plan being re-written at a savings of about $50 for my two Treos. Not bad and the representative took it upon herself to look for a solution, as my original request was to terminate the 650.

| Wait times can be bad...there tech support which is level two or three for the treo is very good. The billing is a rough go with any company..

If it's at night, it's outsourced so you're likely to get someone who's polite but can't help you, in my experience. When there are billing issues, it's a crapshoot...if you get someone who's been there awhile, and is familiar with all the different codes, you're in pretty good shape....if not, ask for a supervisor. You've got to be willing to put up with the wait, though.
Their tech support isn't great, as mentioned above. And Treos are only known by a certain percentage of their Tech Support people. Many will tell you, as soon as you say Treo, that they've either got to get someone else on the line, or will give you another number to call. When you do get Treo people, though, in my experience, they're pretty helpful.
Their Retention people are pretty good. They talked me into the 700p over a year ago when I wasn't planning on upgrading, by offerring a deal I felt I couldn't turn down.

As far as the rest of the answers in this thread, you are getting some good and correct info. Sprint has treated me extremely well with the exception of out of the norm requests. In my opinion, Sprint surpasses any wireless customer service available.
ME: A former AT&T Legacy customer of 15 years who switched shortly after their purchase by Cingular due to an overnight change in their attitude toward customers and extreme rudeness. Now that Cingular has been purchased by AT&T, I have heard that nothing has changed in this area.

| From what I've seen, they seem to be pretty good... I prefer to do it on line. I just go to the contact us... and go from there. When I call it was alright, not perfect... Music on hold needs to be livened up... other than that I can't complain. |
