Got it an Best Buy on day 1 for $199

Got it for $199 at BB. I have paid full price for WM phones ($549) before and would have again for the Pre if I had no choice.

I switched over from Verizon because Sprint's plans are cheaper, so I got it for $199 ($100 rebate). I got it at a Sprint store, but I wish I would have known you didn't have to go the mail-in rebate route if purchased at Best Buy.

Just talked to Best Buy. Even though I'll only be 1-yr eligible (current contract since July 08 also am a Sprint Premier customer) I still get the phone upgrade in August for $199 from Best Buy. There really is a God.
I finally have my Pre! Apple be damned!

I payed $199 at Best Buy, the only problem with that was they charge you tax from the regular phone price, which at best buy is $850 dollars. So that's about $60 dollars in tax
