ISO best way to switch to different sprint plan

I currently share a plan with my son, who, due to corporate reasons has to switch from sprint to another carrier that supports a blackberry model that he prefers to use and sprint doesnt offer

so i will changing from a family to individual plan; i have been with sprint for 4+ years so have no termination fee issues

i use around 1000 minutes on average
how can i avoid having to sign up for a new 1 or 2 yr contract?

i need 1000 min, preferably the cushion of 1350 minutes
plust vision for web email access
and use about 500 txt messages month
and meintanenace/insurance plan on phone for breakdown and loss

any suggestions how to shift with minum cost and to maintain what services i am using now?

Call customer service, and explain the situation. Just dont deal with sprint stores.

Over the weekend, i received $300 off a new phone, free power vision on all my phones, just by calling and explaining the situation. No BS or threats and I got what i needed.
