Default new sprint site actually works...

After three days of trying to access the site to pay my bill and upgrade to a new phone I finally got on. Review your bill, plan, and see if you can upgrade is really cool. I would have to always call to get anything changed.

Which is a nightmare that we have all gone through. I would figure at least two to three hours on the phone to get anything done. This site (I hope) will solve the waiting....Posted in my best far-eastern accent.

The site is much better but unfortunately, I was within the first batch rolled out in this conversion. My plans/accounts/bills have been inaccurate ever since. I will give them credit, however, for adding the Kentucky call center. The people are fantastic, accommodating and knowledgeable. It has been almost two months now since reaching anyone for an assist outside of North America.

KEEP BRING THOSE JOBS BACK ALL!

Sprint notified me over three months ago (via USPS) that their site, call center etc... would be down for only 48 hours do to an upgrade. Of course, it was over the weekend my bill was due. After three days it still wasn't back up. When it came back it was taken down almost immediately for another 48 hours THREE separate times in two weeks!

At first I had to call and notify them that my plan was not as agreed to over 2.5 years ago and that it needed resubmitted. While that was fixed, each month since I have to call and remind them that I have "unlimited data" and ask that they reinstate it/credit my bill (usually at least $500). I am told to simply call back each billing cycle and repeat the above. LOL

Also, when checking my allotted minutes via Treo, the site or *2 I am told that there are "-1 minutes with the plan and _____ used so far." There is also no combined data available for each account and one and one must get out the calculator when multiple devices are involved.

There is more but I'll spare you the rest of my pain. ANYONE ELSE?

The site is working well for me and will let me view my plans..... Hard to compare with other sprint plans. I have employee discounts and have to call them to get prices....

Not any longer. The merger and later the merge of the two sites didn't bother me as much as the inability to access the site or my account. Now if they can just clean it up and make it a bit more user friendly... I speak of NOT having to sign in multiple times for various access/transactions after already providing the necessary identifiers in the first place (especially if one is the "primary"). Also, when researching plans it is rather impossible unless one first chooses to "purchase" a device and get to the next step in the process. It would be nice to first compare plans at times and then choose the appropriate device.

On to other areas in which Sprint has recently begun to excel in their customer service experience. The only call center now outside of the US is in the Philippines (good luck there). The Louisiana call center gets kudos for being both friendly, knowledgeable and the ability to resolve issues in ONE call. Otherwise, when working on an issue, I now receive a "personal Tier II Tech" until said issue is resolved. The OK call center was converted to Instinct only at this time resulting in greater focus and training.
