    Lightbulb Thinking of joining

Maybe I've been living under a rock but I've JUST started hearing really great things about Sprint. I'm interested in the 1500 min, unlimited data & txt plan which goes for $130 for two lines; doesn't seem bad! Waiting on the Pre to come out before I activate the account, i'm already in love with that phone. (Been a loyal customer of AT&T for 8 years now!) I'm hoping the service is just as good....

sprint has the best 3g out there and im not just sayin that it has been proven...and there plans are cheaper i really dont see were all this bad press about sprint is coming from (except for their bad customer service which has gotten way better over the years) i am 15 and been on spint for 6 years and been a palm fan my whole life. Switch to sprint trust me it is worth it

This is true. Verizon owns Alltel and has carried over the favorites, but there is a price.

Is one of the data packs sufficient for the Pre, or do you have to get one of the Everything plans?

I just reupped with Sprint for my kids' lines, and put the data pack on their lines and mine. I didn't go with the Everything Data Family plan because my wife doesn't want to use it, so I figured I'd save a few bucks a month. If I have to go to the Everything Data Family plan for the Pre, I guess I will.

In my area Sprint is fairly good on coverage and seems to be more cost effective than the other carriers. The few dealings I've had with them for customer service has been very good.

The main reason im going to switch from at&t is the cheaper data plan.
