    Default Simply Everything?

Is it unreasonable of me to be angry that Sprint is requiring a move to the Simply Everything plan in order to get the upgrade for a new phone?

I've got an old plan and moving to SEP would cost me $10/month for the exact same thing I have only 400 less minutes. I know I can go $99 for all in but why...why would I just about double my monthly bill? It would be so fun to have the new Pre but I just can't justify it. Am I being unreasonable? Am I missing something?

You are not being unreasonable, I think many people are upset with having to switch their previous plans. My only advice would be to try and ask for discounts. Maybe based on a school you go to, a job you have/sibling/ or partner has. There are many ways to decrease your bill. Hopefully you can find something that works out and allows to you to get the Pre.

I think it's funny the difference in perspective of someone who has been with Sprint for a while. I came over from Verizon, and I can't believe how cheap the Sprint plans are!

If you use a lot of data and TXT, but not a ton of minutes, and you have some friends with similar usage plans, go in with them on an Everything Data Share plan. Very economical.

The Palm Pre and the technology behind requires heavy data usage, so a Simply Everything plan would be a must. They're just trying to keep you from getting swallowed in data usage charges.
I finally have my Pre! Apple be damned!

currently have a touch pro but looking into buying a pre, probably on ebay. Noticed that there's some restrictions on the plan. We currently have a family plan with 2 touch pros and unlimited data per the vision package.

there was a post i read that mentioned that the requirements for having a certain plan will be over after the 60 day exclusive ends.

    anyone familiar with this?
