    Sprint today announced the October 11th availability of the HTC Hero. The HTC Hero will be priced at $179.99 with a new 2 year agreement after a $100 rebate. The HTC Hero is regarded by most as the best Android handset on the market and represents Sprint’s first Android handset. The HTC Hero will be available at all Sprint retail locations, via telesales, at Sprint.com and at Best Buy.

    Chris can i look at the Android App Store via PC? Or do i need to be on a Android phone?

    Pre so easy to use even a caveman can use it.

    Pre so easy to use even a caveman can use it.

    They removed the chin. You need to use the phone to access Android Market.

    Ok thanks, I was hoping they have like RIM and APPLE, guess not, Android did not mature yet, I like the other design better then this one, what do you think?

    So i guess this is a small backlash of buying a phone when it first comes out...this is the first phone (Hero) that I sort of would have considered if I didn't want my Pre so badly in June. and now a friend that couldn't get Pre bc of employee access, is asking me if she should go pre or hero. but i don't think she wnts to wait anymore for a new sprint phone.
