    Default Sprint Multi-task

I come from an iphone and blackberry I also had the touch pro for at&t and for some reason I can't seem to browse the internet on the pre at the same time. Does sprint not offer this service?

On some other devices I had like the touch pro or others you could talk and use data at the same time.

This feature is not supported on Sprint devices. I've heard of AT&T "pretending" to do this...by that, I mean that it appears that you can do both, when actually, it suspends one to perform the other. Still, would be nice to be able to put a call on hold while you look up something on the web...

Thanks for the info. I am also having trouble, when I am on a call and another call comes in if I answer I can't hang one of the calls up. I heard this is also a Sprint limitation but what happens if two calls are already on screen and another call comes in? Will it go to voicemail or do I have the option to also pick it up?

If Palm Pre ever allows VPN and RDP or VNC it can become annoying to be connected to the VPN, connect to RDP, receive a call, connection drops, end call, connect again, connect to RDP, receive another call...I see myself becoming uncomfortable.

I was able to be online while on the phone. Or am I missing what your question was?

Because of a CDMA limitation you cannot use data and be on a call at the same time. You can have the browser open but not transmit data. The only exception might be if your on wifi but not using EVDO.
