Default Sprint Store Bundles aka Extortion

My local Sprint Store in Studio City, California will only sell the Pre with a $265 bundle (car charger, case), or $299, (touchstone, car charger, case)

I told them that I got mine at Radio Shack for $199 and they said "well they'll get in trouble; this is straight from corporate."

Is this true? If so, Sprint will singlehandedly bury the Pre.

There is a $99 iPhone! You can't sell a device that is considered the iphone's peer, at 3 TIMES the price.

Hahah that is absolutely false. Tell them to go shove it.

Bought mine at a sprint store, just with the Phone.

Thank y'all -- I went back to Radio Shack and scored two more - with no add-ons

Someone should report that Sprint store; they're killing Palm with this!

I live in Indiana. I talked to my friend that works at a Sprint store about this. He said that Sprint stores in California follow different policies, etc than the other states. So it's totally possible that they had to be sold in bundles at Sprint stores, but not dealers.

More than likely, it was a dealer store in CA that insisted on selling as a bundle, not the Sprint corporate-owned store....

What was the address of the store?

I'm a Sprint employee and would love to help correct this issue....sounds to me like someone is definitely out of line.
