Sprint Treo 650 Updater 1.13

I think you're right. Turning the phone off and on also allows you to make data connections when Vision hangs. Other than that small inconvenience, the update does seem stable, especially considering the fact that I've started several software trials since updating.

I just got the Vision hang for the first time since updating to 1.13a last night. I can't find any pattern in my usage that would cause it, before the update or since. For what it's worth, I emailed Sprint about it. Maybe they'll actually come back with some useful info.

I had vers 1.12a all worked great, sprint said get 1.13a and all would be better, now my jabra BT250v bluetooth headset never works, anyone know where I can get vers 1.12a which work great. I need the bluetooth for my headset to work cannot deal with it.

Upgraded last week. Fewer resets but having two issues.
1. My Sony Ericcson BT headset no longer connects. It shows up as trusted and I entered the passcode, but calls will never switch over to it.
2. I would swear my reception with the phone and data has dropped in my house. It was never strong, but I could hold most calls. Now, I am dropping often and many calls go straight to voice mail. I am also finding that my data connection drops as well.

Anyone have experience with these issues? Should I go back to 1.12?

I'm not on Sprint, but you could try deleting the device and pairing again. I know Verizon has a number to "update" calling area - not sure of the correct terminology. Does Sprint have anything similar? *228 or something along those lines?

You can call Customer Service (*2) and request a PRL update. They will flag your account. Wait a bit and call back and your phone should automagically update.

Hey all,
Had the update for several months with no issues.
My question is....the icons that are now on my device dont launch an application can they be deleted??
ROM updater, E911 update...which when I just tapped the phone reset.........???? did it again!
OK now its cool but I get a the firmware update key and it says its completed already.

I updated to 13a over 3 months ago. I have Sprint 650 and have not noticed any noticiable problems or improvements for that matter

So, what's the consensus? I'm a Treo650-1.12-SPCS. What does that mean? SPCS = Sprint PCS?
