i hate how companies like atnt and verizon boast they're the "largest" cellular network with the most customers. I want to see how many of those customers were bought by carrier aquisitions. just a little rant.

I have sprint. I don't know about Phili because I haven't been there, but I live in Louisiana and I'm so pleased with Sprint. My boyfriend lives in Texas and I get great service there, too (he has verizon... the 2 are pretty similar as far as quality goes). I didn't get as good of service in some areas of California, and if you're traveling on hwy 79 from Texas to Louisiana, there are a lot of dropped calls. But other than that my service is great! I had cingular before and hated it.

SoftSpirits also said unlimited data on all the lines. That's a very very key item here. Verizon has no equivalent. You basically have to add data individually. So, tack on $15-35 ($15 for non-smartphones, ~$35 for smartphones) for every line if you want to have a direct comparison to Sprint, feature wise.

I'm from the Metro Detroit Michigan Area, and am moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan soon. Do you know how the service (phone and data) is around here?

You're in luck, I live in Monroe...
You won't see any difference in service, unless you wiggle down into the Whittaker area, where you won't have a very good data signal, but the phone signal will be fine. All along 94 you are good, until you go south on 69, to Indiana, then it picks back up again.
All Avatar photos taken from the cab of a moving Freightliner Century Classic, my office if you will. Enjoy!
