I think the OP may have been asking about the 700W. Supposedly, Verizon has a 6-month exclusive, but there have been rumors that it may not be enforced.

Wanting to know the same thing myself, I went and asked Sprint customer service and this is the response I got:

Dear David,

Thank you for contacting Sprint together with Nextel. I will be happy
to assist you regarding your concern about the Treo 700w.

The expected launch date of Treo 700w is June 2006.

We thank you for contacting us.

i love sprint
i went to the sprint store a couple months ago and asked the guy about the 650 (i had a 600) he told me that the 700 was coming out in june that i should just wait so that i dont waste my money on the 650. i told him i love wasting money on phones that i still want the 650 but the point is this guy was telling me the 700 was coming out in june that i should just wait till then to purchase my new phone. WOW talk about customer service and he wasnt being lazy either. TRU

ive heard mixed reviews on the 700 versus the palm OS. i wonder which will be better coming from sprint. as of now i know sprint is behind on their broadband service.

I am hearing from sprint that Verzon has all the rights to the 700w and sprint will NOT be getting it. However they say that they have a 700 or 750 that is coming sometime soon. I wish sprint knew what was happening, I have heard so many different things.

Wrong. Check out Sprint Customer Service's response to the following inquiry:

I see that you are now offering the Treo 700p and
I was wondering if there are any plans to also sell the 700w
in the near future. If so can you tell me the release date
for it? I'm wanting to get a Treo but would rather have the
700w instead of the 700p. Thank you for your assistance.

and their response:

Dear David,

Thank you for contacting Sprint together with Nextel. I will be happy
to assist you regarding the Treo 700w.

We continuously try and bring the best and latest phones for our
customers from time to time based on their requirements and feedback.

Yes, we are going to launch the new Treo 700w handset very soon. I am
sorry but I can not give you a definite time frame within which the
handset will be launched.

Whenever the handset is offered for sale you will be notified on a
priority basis through high profile promotions.
