Warrenting my 650
I've had my 650 for almost a year now. I know it comes with a 1 year warrenty. I keep good care of my phones, there are no big scratches other than normal wear and tear on a phone that everyone goes through. I've noticed a lot lately that my external speaker has gotten worse in quality of sound over the days. Do you think I'm in the wrong for taking it in and asking for a new one? I mean for crying out loud I paid $600 for this thing.

There's nothing wrong with using the warranty for something, especially a fairly expensive purchase like a Treo. Just curious...I understand your volume's been going downhill, but do you have volumeCare installed, by any chance? I'd recommend downloading the trail version and seeing if that fixes your problem. I only suggest this because I'd guess you'd be getting a refurbished Treo if you do a warranty exchange. While many people have had luck with them, some have had issues.

Do you have the insurance? My wifes 650 just started not holding a charge and after trying another battery, Sprint replaced her phone with a brand new 700p. :laugh3: Now she has the Cool phone and I have the old 650...

If the warrenty will cover it send it in. If you did not get insurance (1 month to get it after activation) you can get it when you get the phone back (if they send a new one and maybe on the old one) Oh! six dollars a month for insurance.

Just trying to learn and talk at the same time here.
