will sprint get crush by the other carriers??
i have people saying that once verizon and att get there own version of the pre that sprint will be under. what do you guys think about this?? heres a post from another forum i am in,
"
i don't see how you can really criticize negative comments about the build quality when engadget's test unit broke as soon as they got it and palm has a history of bad hardware construction.
there's no doubt that there is a lot of great aspects to the pre, and nobody has really criticized how it works. the largest complaints about been about the sharpness of some of the pieces, the overall build quality and the size of the keys. the last one is clearly a subjective thing, because not everyone can type effectively on a small keyboard. some of the other complaints would also be easily rectified with software updates - for example, an on-screen keyboard.
if you like it, great, but no device is perfect. it will sell out because of the pre-designed inventory shortages. it's not going to put much of a dent in the marketplace in the short term. the webos is a great idea, but it's not going to take off on a carrier that is barely holding on at the moment. once verizon gets the pre, and att gets the eos (a non-slider pre), sprint will be done. they're really about to get effed in the a with the new iphone announcement on monday. "
i dont want them to go under. but i want to know what everyone else thinks about this.

since I purchased a Pre today, today was my first time ever dealing with Sprint. I have had Verizon, T-mobile and AT&T. I was disappointed to find out that Sprint does not offer call forwarding included in it's Simply Everything package. I was told that I'd have to pay per minute for this. Unfortunately this is a feature that I have to use frequently so this may be a dealbreaker.

I doubt that either way they will go under. I mean they didn't go under with everyone and their momma getting an iphone.

I don't believe any carrier includes Call Forwarding for free, it wouldn't really be cost effect from their standpoint.
How was the rest of your experience in dealing with Sprint?

Every other carrier I've ever dealt with has charged only regular airtime for call forwarding. Sprint is the only carrier still charging an asinine $0.20/min.
That, so far, is my single complaint about Sprint.
