Default SIM card Issues with T-Mobile

I just bought an unlocked Cingular TREO 650. I set it all up, and have a T-Mobile account. I can get to the web and make calls, but am unable to recivie any calls, the phone does not even ring. Anybody heard of this. I want to know if it is a T-Mobile or Treo issue.

I have the same problem with my T-mobile Sim card !
I have been able to check this issue with another T-mobile SIM and everything was perfect.
I have been on the phone with a T-mobile tech guy for 40 minutes but could not figure out why!
It seems that there is a problem with the combination of a particular T-mobile sim card and the Treo 650.
I could not identify what particular kind of SIM card.
Your only chance is to replace the SIM while keeping your phone number and see if it works.
I had bad luck: changed the SIM (paying 25 $) and keeping my phone number and having the same problem...

Hope you have an altrenate solution....

I found the thread: http://www.everythingtreo.com/forum/...vice-2516.html
Seems that problem has to do with some 32K sim cards and that it has been solved switching to a 64K sim card.
To answer your question my sim card works good in the other phones.
