VersaMail Settings Treo 650 on TMo
Hi guys I just recently switched from a Sidekick to a Treo 650 on TMo. I'm having a nightmare of a time getting VersaMail set up correctly. Even Customer Support is stumped at the moment.
I've tried setting it up the way TMo wants you to (mail servers = myemail.t-mobile.com, etc) and can't get anything to work at all. I get an error saying, "Unable to connect to myemail.t-mobile.com. Verify server name entry."
When I make the Account Setup mimic my desktop settings I am able to receive email but cannot send anything. I get an error saying, "Cannot resolve name. Check DNS or enter IP address for mail server."
Anybody know the correct way to set up my 650's email with T-Mobile?

I think this was the same sort of problem I was having (although I am on Altell) Take a look at this and see if it helps.

all is working now, i responded to that same thread you directed me to. basically, i ignored TMo's setup and mimicked the settings from my desktop and everything works great!
