This is in no way a matter of life and death but I am trying to figure out if there is a way to restore some text messages I deleted. I was trying to clear out my inbox but save a handful of texts in another folder and I ended up deleting everything. In my search to see if somehow there might be backed up or copies saved elsewhere, I came across the "Windows" folder in my File Explorer and a subfolder labeled "Messaging" with a lot of files in it. I was unable to open any of them - it stated that "there is no application associated" with each one. I was just wondering if anyone knows if perhaps these could be backed up old texts or if it's something else entirely. And if, improbably, it turns out to be the former, is there a way to restore them to the messaging or back them up on my computer?
