Ok I'm so lost. There is some software that I want to put on my phone but it requires JAVA. How in the world do I put Java on my phone. From what I've seen Palm lost a contract with them and can no longer do it...can someone please help me?!?! I really would like to have Java on my phone! :embarassed:
There's a program called IBM Websphere Microenvironment Java that can be downloaded. It can be a little difficult to find though. I have a copy of it. If you want, I can send you a copy if you PM me with your email address.
And if it's for Opera Mini that you want it for, don't waste your time. Already tried it. It runs but constantly crashes on then Centro. Also here is a link to an article that has the links to the IBM Java... http://palmdiscovery.com/2008/04/05/how-to-series-where-to-get-java-vm-for-palm/
you didn't spend much time w/ opera because it works perfect on my centro and every other centro i've installed it on.
