My new Treo worked fine for a week, now it is switching one (the light is coming up) time to time without any reason. It seems to be related with the phone function.

I have not found any related setting.

That's painful because the battery life is already short, now it is about an half day without calling !!!

Thanks for help.

Make sure that you do not have any SMS pending in your out box. This has been a known issue. Basically what is happening is the treo is simply waking up because an application is trying to send a message. Either that or you have an email app that is doing the same thing, waking up the treo to attempt a send or retrieve.

Thank you very much, that was probably the problem even if I have not yet understood what fixed it ....
I stopped manually Blazer, canceled a new SMS started but not completed and deleted the last one received.

Millerhifi, can you clarify a little on this random awakening issue? I've done what you said above, but are you implying that I can never keep any SMS messages in my inbox or sent cache? Or once I've done it once, I shouldn't experience the problem again?

I don't keep any pending, but I usually keep a few messages that I may need to refer back to.

Thanks in advance!

You should be able to leave sent /received SMS's on your treo with no effect.
Usually what causes the treo to wake randomly is sometimes a 3rd party app will try to do something and will wake the treo like for example if you have "treotools" which will allow you to turn on/off the radio at pre-defined times, this would wake your treo or if you use an email app and set it to send/recieve email at pre-configured intervals. The same would happen if you had an SMS that you typed but had not sent yet, the treo would wake in an attempt to send the pending SMS out.
