I got off the plane, pulled out the treo to call the person I was meeting, and it was dead. I finally begged the use of an electric plug, found my cord in my luggage, and got power to make the call. Had to start all over (although no long-term problem - nothing was lost after I synched). After a full charge it happened again. Sprint replaced my phone, and I've been happy, but it just happened again.

It happens only on trips, because otherwise I keep the treo in a cradle so it's always fully charged. I keep the treo in my purse. Is it possible that the exterior button could be pushed in a way that would make the battery run down?

I love the treo and really count on it. I dread having to go back to Sprint for yet another treo.
