This gMail setup thread should give you all the info you need to access gMail.

Here's the ISP Configuration Support page at Snappermail. This too will provide you settings needed for Snappermail.

Welcome to Everything Treo!

Check out this article at Palm. The offer alternatives browsers to Blazer. I've used Eudora and it's pretty fast - while rendering most sites. It doesn't handle graphics very well.

Welcome to the Treo forums!

I second that on the Eudora. I ran it for a bit but it was lacking on the imagery for me. I went with the alternative browser faound at the palm website.

Go Here

Go there and choose from what they have.

I will tell you I use the Novarra nWeb.

The only test you are doing to verify if it works or not is if bitpim can find the device? Can you read some test data from the serial port?

Looking at the pinout for the serial port it doesn't look like there is any hardware flow control. So looping back the control lines doesn't make any sense.

Did you get the cables yet from the eBay purchase? Does this cable work
? One end goes to the Treo 300 and the other end is a DB9?

Thanks for the info! I need to figure this out!
