Jettious... what you see is dependant on the web browser you use. Some sites look better in some browsers and some render a "lite" version. For me, I access cbs.sportsline a lot. However, when using Blazer, it provides me with the lite version that offers less links (options). Using Eudora quickly rectifies the situation. Xiino does a great job of replicating what you see with your desktop browser (support for background colors). Overall, IMHO, I think Blazer offers the best compromise of rendering sites, and access. Are there any sites in particular that you're looking to access?

If you decide to get the 300, do so by the 18th... the Amazon deal on the homepage ends soon. I just upgraded to the 300 from the 180. I couldn't be happier. It totally rocks. ;D

I just got my Treo 300 and a Sprint account, and I love it so far. I have been using Blazer for web access, and it works ok for the most part, but I would like to try other browsers. One thing I specifically want to do is an eBay search of completed items, so I can reference average selling prices of various merchandise. Blazer won't show completed item prices, so  I downloaded Eudoraweb and XIINO. Eudoraweb works great - seems fast because it's text only, and it shows the prices, but the eBay page is close to 30k BEFORE it gets much of the info I want. It looks like that is the page size limit in the program itself(at least I couldn't find anywhere to change it - except for changing the cache size which doesn't seem to help). I can't get XIINO to work at all, though. I have tried a few different URL's but the program goes from "connecting..." to "receiving..." where it just hangs. I've tried logging off wireless mode to see if that helps, and it goes through log on ok, but nothing helps. Any suggestions?

Have you checked to be sure the proxy pds.ilinx.co.jp is in the server portion of page two of the preferences?

I had tried to access the XIINO website on my home computer also, and the site must have been down last night. The program works fine this morning. I also downloaded !Spider TE from palmgear.com and it works good as a text only browser. I guess each browser has it's advantages and disadvantages.

I don't think it's the whole package when it comes to web surfing. I don't think any of the browsers support flash. The beauty of the 300 is that it does everything well. It's a phone, a PDA, a mobile device that allows for email checking and web browsing. That in itself justifies the price (IMHO). Plus, if you're in the market for a phone, with all the discounts through Amazon, you get a color PDA for $249. That's pretty awesome when you consider the price of color PDA's. The Treo 90, for instance will set you back $299 without all the communicator features. So, to recap, it's a great all in one device...but not the be all end all when it comes to phone/web. Just great to carry one device. It's a swiss army knife of sorts. ;D
