Is it true that you can't use the Graffiti with the palm os on this phone? If so, has anyone switched from a regular palm to the Treo? Have you had any problems? I have used a Palm for many years and can write fairly well with the Graffiti but when I looked at this phone the numbers looked very small. They wouldn't activate the phone for me so I could actually try it out. I wear bifocals and have big hands but I would like to replace my palm, beeper, and celll phone with the treo.
Has anyone done this in my age group 54
Thanks

You most certainly can add graffiti ability to the treo if you choose to do so.
Handspring offers a free copy off recoechoplus that you can download from their site and there are others offered such as NewPen.

Recoechoplus:

NewPen:

Having been a palm user for many years and used graffati, it took no time at all to get used to the querty keyboard on the treo and quit frankly I much prefer the keyboard over graffiti at this point! But than again, I don't wear bifocals!
:D

I agree with MillerHiFi -- I was using graphitti for years and didn't know what to expect w/ the new keyboard. The addition of RechoEdit plus (which is free w/ every Treo) allows you to have the best of both worlds.

Good luck

They've offered the treo650 in the past. "Free" if you ignore the spam, and the subscriptions and offers you have to sign up for etc.
