    I downloaded Ringo to find that it does not work for the Treo 300 unless you want to replace all your default ringtones. I only wanted to add a couple of ring tones or replace a couple and keep the rest. Any ideas?

    How did you even get to access them? I've downloaded a couple new sets of tones into my phone but can only see the usual ones

    I had also downloaded Ringo and thought it was limited due to being the trial version. I just purchased the full version and I haven't been able to see new tunes when trying to address them in Speed Dial. I see them when selecting Ringer Preferences, but they don't seem to work. I can't see the value if I can't personalize tunes for individual callers. Any suggestions?

    Ok...it's still not working great..but I found out I was forgetting to Syncronize Radio Ringtones within the Ringo Music section. Seems to be working ok..but it's not as easy as modifying tones and syncronizing. It appears to have somewhat of a "mind of it's own". The caller picture id feature is cool...and some of the tones appear to be working. Looks like they have a few bugs to work out.

    Here are excerpts from a bug report I composed and sent to the author and to electricpocket today:
    ------------------
    Dear Savin and palmnokia@mail.ru

    " . . . (One of my online friends) has done an absolutely magnificent job in creating ringtones which are short, loud and dramatic for use with ringo on the Treo 300, but many of us are discovering bugs in Ringo when attempting to sync them to the Treo 300 radio. Here are some of the problems I and others are encountering:

    All of the ringtones appear in Ringo Personal Ringtones list and play there perfectly, but when Ringo is used to sync them to the radio, and we then go into the PhoneBook application and use the drop-down list to assign these ringtones to individual callers:

    1) Several of the less desirable built-in ringtones from Handspring, which we are trying to avoid using, appear not once but twice;

    2) Not all of the Personal Ringtones added appear in the drop-down assignment menu;

    3) Clicking on the drop-down menu, letting it go and then clicking on it again makes some ringtones appear and disappear - in other words, the list changes slightly almost every time it is accessed;

    4) When Ringo is used to re-sync the radio after the Personal ringtones list has been changed by additions or subtractions, going back to the Phonebook app one finds that the individually caller-assigned ringtones has been changed or lost.

    Are you aware of these problems? What are the chances of getting them repaired soon? Your product is very clever and has great potential, but very few people other than us early purchasers and adopters are likely to have much patience with these bugs.

    I send this report to you on behalf of many who are discussing these issues online, in the hopes of a symbiotically successful improvement in the near future.
    ----------------------
    Have I adedquately defined the problems others here on Everything Treo have experienced with Ringo for the 300? Are there other problems which we should report to them? (w00t)

    Regards,

    NateS

    Nate-
    Your list sums up most of the issues I've had with Ringo. It's a very frustrating app. You want to love it, but it causes so much grief when trying to add tones. From soft resets to "undeletable" tones. One gripe that I have which wasn't addressed:
    When answering a call using the hands-free unit, I find that I'm hanging up on my caller rather than answering the call. Flipping the Treo lid resolves the issue. Not exactly a desirable fix.
