I know this phone does not roam on analog systems. Someone told me that if you get the service from Sprint that it will roam on the Verizon PCS network. Interestingly, the folks at sprint don't know for sure. Does anyone know if this is true? I live in Augusta, GA and use the phone between Atlanta and Charleston. There is no Verizon service in Augusta but does their network cover most of the area?
    Thanks

Sprint uses 1900 MHz; Verizon uses mostly 800 MHz and the Treo 300 is a single band (1900 MHz), so there are very few times that a Treo 300 could work on Verizon.
Verizon is CDMA 800 and your Treo is only single band PCS (1900 MHz). You can roam on Cricket, Northcoast and other CDMA 1900 carriers and even on Verizon in Florida but most Verizon markets are not accessible to your phone.
