| got one too, for about 3 weeks, I live in Northern California. where do you live?
I stay connected on my commute to work (which is the worst in the nation right now) Alamo to San Jose, 680 to the 880. There are a couple of spots in Fremont where I drop dead though ;(
I have experienced about a 1 min wait on the browser, which isn’t so bad.
favorite features: keyboard and speaker phone and did some one tell you AOL anywhere, that’s also working for me.

| The Sprint unit is truly an awesome piece of equipment, it has a ways to go but I love it. I synced it with all my Visor Prism records and it worked perfectly (follow instructions exactly). I was disappointed that they didnt have a better solution for email but Eudora works very well and with all my pop3 account (up to 10). I changed the memo button to Eudora Mail so its easy to pull it up. You can set your Sprint email account to notify you when you have email (some or all). I forward whatever pop3 account is important at the time to Sprint my email address (generated when you sign up for Vision Plan) so I am immediately notified via a pop up message, very cool! Blazer is still pretty weak weak when it comes to most scripting, but at least its fast, only very graphic intensive pages are slow. Ironically they show the CNN web site on there brochure and it took for ever to load, increase cach size if you can. Be advised Sprint releaed a s#!Tload of new Vision phones and they are completely overwhelmed with tech support calls, most of the techs dont know what a pop3 is, if you call for for support when Clair "Your virtual asisstant comes on say "WIRELESS WEB TECHNICIAN" and you will get some brighter guys. Hope this helps! ;D |

| Hi All, Here'sthe scoop on Business Connection.
First of all, it's definitely worth the effort. ONce it works, it works great.
Now, as to the web site. Having trouble finding a link to it? Right! Because they cleverly hid it so you have to pull your own hair out before you find it. If I remember correctly, it's simply bc.sprintpcs.com . SHHHH it's a secret!
To get the link, you have to run the CD setup progtam, even if you already have palm desktop installed. It must be from the CD. It will give you an option, after installing the softeare you already have, to link you to the sprint site. This is your only way of accessing the site for the first time.
All passwords must match! Your PCS vision, PCS BC, and handheld BC device must be the same software.
You must have a strong signal (REALLY strong) when first connecting and keys are established.
As a good check for trouble, see if your PC connects (the icon turns green, and then try to access your email via the web at sprintpcs.com. If you can see your email, but you can't connect on your treo, the problem is in the treo.

| Still love treo 300 but still no email (except webmail). Didn't sign up for business connection since I just want to access personal earthlink email. Thought I could have earthlink mail linked but have no idea how to do that. Downloaded Eudora per sprint suggestion but no go.
Any advice out there? Havn't had time to wait on tech support so still using webmail. |

| Just download Eudora for Palm OS, it's free. Enter your POP3 and SMTP info for the accounts you want to check (up to 10) and your good to go. |

| For the life of me, I cannot get the email to work. I downloaded Eudora 2.1 for Palm OS, and put in both my sprint and att email accounts and in neither case does the mail come back. The sprint one gets to the point of connecting and logging in but then comes back with "authentication error". Any ideas? |

| What att email program are you using is it att broadband? Either way it needs to be set up using secure authentication and you need to have the right port settings.

| You should at least be able to retrieve the Sprint mail, did you use smtp.sprintpcs.com and pop.sprintpcs.com? I forward everything to the Sprint email so I get notification and I dont have to keep checking. |

| Thank you very much for the help. I've now been able to get the Treo using Eudora 2.l to receive mail from the attbi account. On the Security page, I set the Security (SSL) on Alternate Port and that seemed to do the job. I cannot, however, send mail yet. What should I set the Outgoing to on the Security page. I've tried just about every option. Is there a place to put the port numbers in? I can't find it.
Should I be putting something on the Default domain line on the Send page for setting up the acct? Should I check the Send immediate box?
The Sprintpcs acct is still a no go but if I can get the attbi one going, that's all I really need. Thanks again. |

| Here is how I configure Eurdora to get my ATTBI mail:
Treo E-mail configuration using Eudora 2.1 on the Treo
When accessing your attbi email from another ISP, ports 110 & 25 are blocked, so you must use SSL for SMTP (port 465) and SSL for POP (port 995).
Email Client (Treo/Eudora):
In Eudora 2.1 on the Treo:
In Account:
On 'Basic' Tab:
Return Address = {yourusername}@attbi.com (not case sensitive?)
Username = {yourusername}@attbi.com (not case sensitive?)
Incoming (POP) = mail.attbi.com:995
Outgoing (SMTP) = mail.attbi.com:465
In 'Security' Tab:
Incoming (POP)
Authentication = Best Available
Security (SSL) = Alternate Port
Outgoing (SMTP)
Authentication = Best Available / Same as Incoming (SMTP)
Security (SSL) = Alternate Port
Note that your ATTBI password IS case sensitive when you enter it in Eudora. You may elect to enter it each time or save password.
